AI requests use online processing
Dictation and Assistant need internet and submit relevant request information for processing. Review the Privacy Policy for the governing data practices. This guide does not promise that AI is local, that no data is retained, or that every provider handles data identically.
Optional context switches
Index Recent Interactions and Index Scratchpad are independent, eligible Intelligence settings. Scratchpad context concerns the current page. Enhanced on-screen, selected-text, and focused-field context is request-driven. Review these controls before asking about material that includes private or third-party information.
Local availability and remote synchronization
Notes, reminders, timers, and related local app state are different from a completed cloud sync or an AI response. Observe sync state and retry after reconnecting. A visible local change does not prove that another session already received it; avoid treating the app as your only backup for critical information.
Protect your account
Do not put passwords or verification codes in a dictionary expansion, support message, or screenshot. Use Log out when leaving a shared device and understand that its confirmation affects other sessions. Delete Account is a separate irreversible process, not a shortcut for logging out.
