01

Create a deliberate mapping

Add a dictionary entry with a distinctive spoken keyword in Lingo and its intended expansion in Definition. For example, use ‘my contact email’ for [email protected]. Avoid using ‘email’ alone if you often need to say that word literally.

02

Turn replacement on

In Settings → Intelligence enable Auto Replace Keywords. Dictionary entries can still provide vocabulary context when this switch is off; automatic expansion is the separate behavior controlled here.

  1. Create and save your keyword mapping in Dictionary.
  2. Enable Auto Replace Keywords in Intelligence settings.
  3. Dictate the keyword in a test field.
  4. Check the exact expansion before using it in a message or form.
03

Troubleshoot a replacement

Check spelling, the saved definition, the toggle, and whether your pronunciation clearly matches the keyword. Remove conflicting entries if two shortcuts sound alike. Re-test in a simple field rather than repeatedly sending a faulty expansion.

04

Choose suitable information

Use mappings you are comfortable having processed as part of a voice request. A convenient expansion is not a password vault. Do not use the dictionary to store credentials, recovery codes, or other secrets.
